GOD’S CONTINUED FAITHFULNESS

Our History

Since our founding in 1989, Living Water Baptist Church has faithfully spread the gospel and made disciples in Longs and the surrounding communities. What began as a small group of 80 believers, meeting in a restaurant banquet room, has grown through the Lord’s provision into a community of believers living on mission and making Christ known throughout Horry County. Through prayer, stewardship, and God’s faithfulness, our facilities have expanded to support growing classes, worship, and ministries — all for His glory.

After 35 years of dedicated leadership under Pastor Emeritus Lebron Crisp, who retired at the end of 2024, Living Water Baptist Church joyfully welcomed Dr. John Goudelock as its new Senior Pastor in January 2025. We remain committed to advancing the gospel in Longs, South Carolina, and throughout our state, nation, and world.
